Spacer 3 (C3); 3’ Modification
The 3-Sp3 modification adds a three carbon spacer to the 3’ terminus of the oligonucleotide. This modification will prohibit extension of the oligonucleotide by polymerase activity and prevent ligation of the 3’ end.
