Analytical tools for characterising mRNA and other RNA-based therapeutics
- Hybridase Thermostable RNase H enables site-specific cleavage of RNA and is a great enzymatic tool for cleaving mRNA and long sgRNA prior to LC/MS analysis.
- RNA 5' Polyphosphatase generates 5'-monophosphate ends on uncapped synthesized RNA and works with Terminator 5'-Phosphate-Dependent Exonuclease for mRNA capping efficiency assays.
- Terminator 5'-Phosphate-Dependent Exonuclease degrades uncapped, 5' monophosphated RNA generated by RNA 5' Polyphosphatase.
- RNase A degrades ssRNA at C and U residues and can be used with 5' end DNA probes in mRNA digestion reactions to characterize capping by gel electrophoresis.
- T4 Polynucleotide Kinase, Cloned dephosphorylates certain oligoribonucleotides and is often added to digestion reactions to produce uniform termini, simplifying LC/MS analysis.
