The 5-Phos modification adds a phosphate moiety to the 5’ end of an oligonucleotide. Oligonucleotides having a 5’-phosphate group are valuable tools for many molecular biology applications including gene construction, cloning, mutagenesis and ligation chain reaction.

The Pulsar technology is covered by U.S. Patent numbers 7,635,762B2 and 8,119,781B2.
