mdC(TEG-Amino); 3' Modification

The 3-mdCAM modification incorporates an amine functionality at the 3' terminus of an oligonucleotide. This free amine can be used as a reactive handle, for example, with succinimidyl esters. This amine is conjugated via a polyethylene glycol (PEG) linker to a modified cytidine which may participate in hybridization.
