How do I adjust my thermal cycler’s settings to account for the BHQ quencher?

BHQ™, BHQplus™ or BHQnova™ Probes may be used on any qPCR instrument. These probes exhibit extremely low background fluorescence, enhancing detection sensitivity. The selection process for the quencher dye during set-up varies between instruments. Because Black Hole Quencher™ dyes have no fluorescence emission, simply choose the setting for 'Non-fluorescent', 'dark quencher' or ‘none’.
